Trampoline Mat and Spring Size Finder

Wrong-size orders are the number one reason people give up on repairing a trampoline and buy a new one instead. This tool takes the three measurements that identify almost any trampoline and turns them into a part specification you can order from.

Not sure where to measure? Our measuring guide walks through each one with the common mistakes. The short version: measure the frame outer edge to outer edge, count every spring, and measure one removed spring hook tip to hook tip.

How the mat size is calculated

Installed springs sit under tension, so the fabric of the mat is meaningfully smaller than the frame. The estimate above assumes each spring stretches about four inches when installed, which is typical, and subtracts two of those from the frame measurement. It is a cross-check, not an order number.

Always order by frame size, V-ring count, and spring length. Every reputable parts supplier lists mats that way, and it is the only combination that guarantees a fit.

If the numbers look wrong

Two frame measurements taken at 90 degrees that differ by more than an inch mean the frame is out of round, usually from wind or an impact. A new mat on a bent frame will wear unevenly and fail early, so straighten or replace the frame first. Our safety inspection checklist covers the frame checks that matter before you spend money on fabric.
